Hugh Beach is a researcher and associate Professor in the department of Cultural Anthropology and Ethnology, Uppsala University Sweden.  His current researches are primarily Sami reindeer herding especially in Sweden but also on the Kola Peninsula.  Beach has also aimed his researches at herding in Alaska, northern China and Russia.  These pictures are taken in the Sami community Tuorpon Sameby in Sweden.
